Artemide have become one of the most respected manufacturers of decorative and designer lighting in the world today. Always keen to employ original thinkers and designers, Artemide lighting has created many design classics. The Tizio lamp, designed by Richard Sapper in 1972, was the first of many modern classic lights. The De Lucchi & Fassina designed Tolomeo light followed in 1987 and the recent Karim Rashid Cadmo design enters the range with the promise of being another icon.
