Typically this refers to recessed down lights. We have a selection of carefully considered down lights to suit various budgets. Recessed luminaires often require a transformer to reduce the voltage to the lamp and we call these low voltage fittings. Low voltage fittings in many cases are superior to the alternative cheaper mains voltage fittings.
